Prototype preview — methodology described here defines the product's trust framework for launch.
Our methods

Trust is the product. Here's how we build it.

drroye is independent. Hospitals cannot pay to be featured, interviewed or ranked. Our revenue comes from care-coordination services, disclosed on every page.

🏥

On-site, every time

Every hospital profile is based on a physical visit: we tour the wards international patients actually use, review the international desk's process, and interview the clinical team on record.

📋

Documents over claims

Outcome rates, accreditation and price ranges must be backed by documents or published data. "Marketing claims" are treated as marketing — and labelled as such.

🟢

Patients get the last word

Verified patient reviews are combined with our audit in every rating. Hospitals can respond publicly to reviews, but never remove them.

Ratings — launching in beta

The five-pillar rating framework

Each hospital receives a score from 1–5 in five pillars. The overall score is a weighted blend — weighted by what our community told us actually drives their decisions.

PillarWeightWhat we measureWhere the data comes from
Clinical outcomes30%Procedure-specific outcomes, surgeon volume, infection ratesHospital records, published data, our audit
International patient experience25%Language support, coordination, communication rhythmVerified patient reviews + mystery-patient testing
Value & transparency20%Fixed quotes honoured, invoice drift, billing clarityQuote-vs-invoice tracking from verified patients
Coordination15%Records handling, second opinions, visa & logistics supportOur on-site audit + response-time tests
Aftercare10%Discharge documentation, remote follow-up, home-GP liaisonFollow-up surveys at 1, 3 and 6 months

Ratings only go live once a hospital has 10+ verified patient reviews or a full on-site audit — whichever gives the score a real foundation.

Editorial policy

How we make money — and what we'll never do

We earn from coordination, not influence. When a patient chooses a hospital, we may charge that hospital an introduction fee. The fee never changes who we feature, what we ask in interviews, or what patients write in reviews — and it's disclosed on every hospital page.

Interviews are unedited. Hospitals reviewed before publication for factual accuracy only — never for tone or criticism. If a hospital declines an interview, we say so on their profile.

Community content is untouchable. No hospital or agency can buy, suppress or reframe a review. Moderation exists for privacy, safety and anti-spam — nothing else.

Every number has a source. Price ranges cite whether they come from hospital quotes, verified patient invoices or published lists — and when they were checked.
